|02:01 pm - Job update|
Locally i've gotten jack as far as response.
However I've been applying for jobs at SAIC.
I've been applying everywhere on their site.
Maryland, florida, california, Ohio, Pa, WV, AZ.
Why cause they are military developer among other things.
well I got an email from one of the probably 60 or so positions.
Asking for more info. Typical 1st interview questions.
Actual research job. meaning I would actually get to develop stuff.
Top Secret Clearance. Outside of the "Coolness" of having a TS clearance. It is supposedly very good for getting more jobs.
So my question as some have done similar things.
Is it worth moving your entire life 1/2 way cross the country for a job, to a place where the only person you even know and never met is 1 1/2 hours away?
Current Mood: nervous
It would definately be scary picking up your whole life and moving across the country, but I think in the end, if it's what you want to do, and it will make you happy ( and get you mad cash) then it is worth it!
People who don't take the risks, never get the goods ;)
Good luck Dave!
btw your SAIC link is bad. ;)
