|01:04 pm - Poll about life. And your life's quest.|
Ok, Sorry bout any amount of bitchyness coming from my direction. I've been thinking and a large part of my problem with time and most things like jobs. I honestly don't know what I want to do in life. I have an education, I have work experience, I have activities. But anything beyond a year gets fuzzy for me. I've got no real long term ambitions in life. What I want to accomplish. What sort of jobs I want. So I figure i'd do a poll. Note this isn't asking what you think I should do. This is more about me being curious about how others have found what they want to do in life or are going about finding it.
Do you know what you want to do with your life?
If you have, How did you discover what you wanted to do in life? (use comments if not enough room)
Current Mood: curious

To expand on my poll answer a little:
I have ALWAYS known that I was destined to leave a mark on this earth in some way or other, and I have always had many potential avenues to pursue in order to reach said destiny.
Now, after having met Meaghan, I see more and more what I am meant to do/be.
It's a LOT of stuff, and nothing that can be properly summed up in a handful of words. If I were to give a few brief snippets, I'd say that I'm meant to spread the joy of Quixoticism any way I can; that I'm meant to be a teacher, though not in the traditional classroom sense; that I'm meant to be a student, and to learn as much as I can about the universe around and inside me; that I'm meant to be with my soulmate, forever so as to speak in that special language meant only to be understood by us and us alone; that I'm meant to create something lasting, something that will endure an age or twenty, whether it be tangible or but an idea whispered from ear to ear...
And by "meant to", I also mean "I want to". They are bth one and the same to me.
And it's ALL important and it's ALL good. ^_^
I knew at 14 that I was supposed to help other people understand life better through my own life and humor.
I'm still working on the technical details.

It's a lot of trial and error, I guess. I went to school for Latin and Greek, because I love the languages, but soon realized I liked them for fun, but definitely did not want to work with them as a job. I guess a job can't be something "sacred" for me, it's gotta be something I'm willing to compromise on and distance myself, but also something fun and always enjoyable, just in the craft. So that's why I'm gung ho into graphics- graphic design and comics and stuff. I've got a lot of passion for it, but I'm open minded and willing to compromise.

While at times I have no idea what I'm doing, there has been one consistant thread in my life. Procrastination. It seems I am here to spread the joy of postponing work. I'll tell you all about it later.
