Advice from someone who got an "A" in Nutrition
Human body needs at least 900-1400 calories to maintain daily metabolic rate. Otherwise, your body starts converting muscle tissue to calories to keep things moving. Funny how it won't get into the fat storage, because that's about keeping things running for another day. And yeah, it will eventually start burning fat, but muscle is far easier to convert to calories. Burning fat, metabolically, is like trying to start a bonfire by holding a bic lighter to cord-wood.
Remember that you need carbohydrates. Carbs are the fuel on which our bodies run. Eat small meals throughout the day. Graze, snack. Make sure the calories you consume have nutritive value. Dietary fiber, complex carbohydrates.
Remember that bread has protein, too. A peanut butter sandwich is actually the vegan and soy-free solution to complete proteins. Look into quinoa, as well--a protein rich grain. It's sorta like the bastard child of rice and barley, but with complete proteins.
Please eat enough to keep yourself alive. Keep exercising.
Build strength and lean muscle mass so you can burn more calories even when you're sitting still.
You can do this. I have faith in your ability. You're dedicated, you're motivated, and you're in control.
Oh, and watch the sodium with the bagel chips. Prepared foods are your enemy as far as sodium is concerned.

Re: Advice from someone who got an "A" in Nutrition
Thanks. I believe my starvation threshhold was around 800 according to testing by my nutritionist. I'm supposed to be around 1200 on the daily intake (I didn't eat my omelette yesterday.)
It probably didn't help that they were sea salt bagel chips. :)
Sodium is one that I know I get too much at time for. Though I don't have any issues with blood pressure (I think that's where sodium causes the most problems)
I'll probably pick up a lean cuisine at the corner instead of the crackers. (I know its sodium laden. )
looks good, as long as you're keeping your protein up and getting in some carbs to prevent brain fog!
I supposed I should learn this twitter shit

You will definitely want a txt message plan or data plan if you want to use twitter easily. each of those was submitted by a txt message. though I may just go to the site on my phones browser.
Also it isn't nearly as useful unless you also set up loudtwitter to consolodate it for LJ.
im just trying it out as a rough sketch tracking. i've got a professional tracking program from when I tmy nutritional class but it was always a pain.
the hazard of having friends LOL i rarely used a third of my texts but in the past 2 months of being more sociable and outwardly friendly... I get lots of texts and since it seems both you and I communicate less hesitantly on text LOL (I ALWAYS feel like a tool on the phone) i think unlimited is the way to go. I just need to get to tmobile to do it.
