I doubt I'll get to try the new boss until the weekend. Makes me sad. Because my guild is OMFG disorganized, especially after the recent-ish split. How bad is he? (Compared to the other bosses we pretty much laugh at after the nerf)

If you are clearing kara, he will be easy. Strat I read said to kite him away from the red glowing balls. We actually just tanked him there. it hurt but we survived. :)


My suggestion is that if you aren't tied to a kara lock, then just pug it monday night.

Of course when I say pug just grab guild mates.

It was funny I solo tanked Attuneman. So if your tank is good enough you only need one. :)






Wowinsider says that the boss will only be around about 10 days.

Nope, we wiped the floor with the lot of them on Friday night when we couldn't get into ZA thanks to the buggy-ass gong. So I'm hoping we'll have enough guildies on to do him tonight, but knowing my guild at present having 10 70s on is kind of iffy at the best of times.

shurhaian and I had a bucket of fun on Saturday doing world quests, though. BM huntard and holy pally 2-manning Ruul and Uvuros without too much trouble. :D

He does two things -- summons red orb things that explode if you get too close to it and does a red laser thing where the person he's "soul swapping" or whatever with takes all the damage incoming. Go kill Attunemen (or don't, doesn't matter), go upstairs, clear that circular hallway up top -- DONT OPEN THE DOOR! Opening it starts the event immediately!

You want to stay away from the red orbs, and stop DPS when he's doing the red laser thing. My guild 5-manned a group and 7 manned a group with no issues, but we are all Sunwell geared :P

Also, you get a quest from Light's Hope Chapel to kill the guy, you get some Six Demon Bag knockoff as a reward. He drops a bat pet for everyone and has a chance to drop a 2h axe that has a Use: effect that turns you into one of the guitarists from L70 Elite Tauren Chieftans.
