|05:40 pm - If something is too good to be true....|
Well almost bought the powerbook early.
I found some cheap g4 667 (the new models) with extra stuff supposidly sealed and factory new for around 2000.
theese were way better machines for way less.
The were supposed to be ending in an hour and i had a winning bid.
I go to check and the auction has ended. i panic and look.
All of the sellers auctions were canceled because they had been suspended.
I guess there are good things and bad things to this.
i shall just have to make due with the lesser powerbook.
and it shall be named souchiro. :)

I ended up with an HP pavilion n5415. it was a better deal -well after the rebate it'll end up being about $899 from my tired brain it's 900MHz DuranDuran Processor, 14.1 monitor, 256MB SDRAM, 8x DVD
10GB HD, blahblahblah
not quite what I wanted but it was a little less and for what I need it for, it's totally fine.
However I am wondering if it's really worth it to get the $270 xtended warranty. they always seem like a scam to me.
guess it's good, tho, that your thing got cancelled before you got scammed cuz that woulda sucked worse. right?
