Re: ohayo con
I will say that some of my stress was my own fault.
I never did get organized enough to properly handle my gophers.
Though there were times where it is very frustrating to be on staff. but most of the time its just for the senior staff/staff heads.
I'm just sorry I never got a chance to introduce myself--I saw you several times, but you always looked so busy! And we were just down the hall in room 110, too. :(

There is always next year. i'm working on being in a less stressful position for
Bruce had pointed out you guys during the cosplay but i hadn't gotten the chance to say hi.
Dave, you get stressed out even when you're just a guest. :)

Well at least i didn't have 1/2 naked strangers show up in my room this year.
At the last Ohayocon we got our rooms, registered for the con, came back to our rooms, and then discovered several very underwashed stereotypical otakus in our rooms. You know, the kind that order anime love dolls, never heard of soap, couldn't get laid by a drunken sheep if their lives depended on it, and stay up all night for the Urotsukadoji marathon. The hotel had booked them in the same room as us. Joy.
Hey, how was the ugly ratio at this year's Ohayocon? Last years was amazing for an anime con. Rather than the usual 80% ridiculous or hidious, there was 80% Oh my God I'm at a Sweedish Bikini marathon. Not only were most of the women just super-model hot, a good portion chose to wear band-aid costumes (I walked by one girl who asked her friend "Why is everyone stairing at me?" followed by a "Oh" when she realized her costume only covered 6% of her body). Hell, the only true ugly I saw was Sailor-Zilla (8-foot tall 400 pound girl dressed up like Sailor Venus).
Okay, now that my hormones have had their word, the 1st Ohoyacon was pretty fun and pretty co-ed for an anime con. Very few drooling fanboys around and a lot of old friends showed up. Not the usually fanatic atmosphere, more like a giant club gathering.

Seamed to be a good number of good lookers compared to the average con.
I think we were slightly down from last year.
There was also alot of crossplayers on saturday for some reason.
