06:08 pm - Well I survived Toledo and back without a ticket
I went to BASH-con. University of Toledo's gaming convention.

I didn't play a single game. But I did have a better time then last year.

though i spent to much money.

The anime room turned into a flop. "Showing anime non-stop all weekend" turned into showing anime only on saturday during normal hours. with nothing late night.

Plus had seen almost everything they had.

Well I made an unusual purchase.

Howard. yes he is a duck.

He is about 2 foot tall and 3 feet long. and stuffed.

I got him a Krogers on friday night.

Sunday i brought him to the con and just walked around with him.

Now at the con what most of my friends did was LARP.

Live action Role Playing. This year they were all werewolves.

So I hung around with a little thing on my badge saying "I am not a LARPer" and watched them and others in the game.

Sunday I was going to try and get a character but none were available that i could play

For I came up with a character idea that i may try for next year.

A werewolf who "isn't quite there" named "Walks-with-duck"

For thoose who have never dealt with me in a rpg sense. I play to have fun.

no melodrama. no seriousness. i play to enjoymyself. and i have a wierd sense of humor.

hence as my one group of friends say. I cause "Brain Hurt"

Other rejected character ideas "Jumbalia Jake"(sp?) were-crocodile
a Croax (sp) aka were-raven who has been cursed that instead of having a raven form instead has a duck form.(yes this was an alternative method to use the duck)

What did i spend money on?

Vampire hunter d blood lust, state of emergency, tenomaya(sp?_ voyagers.
2nd Ed DMs guide, 2nd Ed Players guide. 2nd ed books of artifacts.

some other junk

the duck,

a large (75 mm i think) d6 (Its huge)

and a nice print signed with a quick sketch by Susan Van Camp. :)
Current Mood: tiredtired

don't let the duck get all the action.
it's prop comedy. any time a girl molests your duck, just say: "did you ask?" that's a road for conversation and feeling them out if they're interested in more. disarm them and they are yours... =)
