|01:08 am - Gonna take a shot at something new.|
Its called Geocaching.
People put a box out there.
Give you the longitude and latitude and you try and find it.
they have the boxes all over the country.
There's 9 within 10 miles of my house.
So i'm going to grab my dads gps and me and my brother are going to try and track down a couple of them.
Of course won't go for another 2 weeks or so cause brother is going to new york for passover.
if you are wondering if any are near you check out
it would be interesting if there were ones close enough in sandiego for me to hit one at the convention. but thats if my interest holds out heh. :)
I've heard about that. It sounds really neat.
But what's in the box...?

it varies from box to box.
The person who first puts the box dumps some stuff. Patches. kiddie toys. cards.
Then when someone else finds it they take something and put something new in it.
So it constantly change it.
The webpage has little dog tags you can attach to an item and it has a number so you can go to the webpage and track the item as it moves from cache to cache.
